Move Fender’s artist content beyond standard interview formats and create something more culturally distinctive.

Response
I was brought in to direct but helped shape the concept, reframing the piece through an Afrofuturist lens. Set in a church in Peckham, the work balanced tradition and futurism to create a more intentional world around Nova Twins.

I directed the film, led the art direction, wrote and conducted the interview, and shot the stills to ensure a consistent visual and narrative language.

Over 500,000 organic views, helping elevate Fender’s artist series into something more culturally relevant and visually distinct.
